Oregon is flanked by Washington, California, Idaho, Pacific Ocean and Nevada.
Oregon is the land of forests which provides a plenitude of log-wood and timber.
The Coastal Range of Oregon extends along Pacific Ocean. Triangle Lake Valley is the vital lake of Oregon. The region is littered with steep hills with a height ranging from 1000 to 2000 feet.
Willamette Lowland is located contiguous to Willamette river. The soil in this region is fertile.
Klamath Mountain is located in the south western region of Oregon which is covered by dense forests.

Columbia Plateau encapsulates the eastern part of Oregon. Most of the wheat farms are located in Columbia Plateau. The area is craggy and owes its origin to the molten rocks in the volcanic craters. Snake River is the most important river in the zone. Some of the mountains located in the vicinity of the region are Wallowa Mountains and Blue Mountains. There is a steep land with rivers sandwiched between the mountains . The south eastern part of Oregon is characterized by deserts, mountains, rivers and its tributaries . Some of the lakes of Oregon are Crater Lake, Upper Klamath Lake etc. The important rivers of Oregon are Snake, Columbia, Deschutes, John Day etc. Mount Hood has the maximum elevation in Oregon. Oregon is sprawled over an area of 11239 feet. Some of the trees found in Oregon are pine, spruce etc. A plethora of birds are found in Oregon. Oregon abounds in animals like deer, antelopes ,squirrels etc.
Climate of Oregon :
The western part of Cascade Mountains has a pleasant climate with ample rainfall . The eastern part of Cascade Mountain has the desert region with extreme climate . Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountain play a pivotal role in governing the climate of Oregon .
