	The Oregon Zoo was formerly known as the Washington Park Zoo. The Oregon Zoo is a most famous zoo placed at two miles west southwest of downtown area of Portland, Oregon in the Washington Park of Portland. The zoo became a world famous zoo in the year of 1962 in the time when the Asian elephant was born in the zoo. It was named as Packy.
